About Us

Founded in 2021, Matsya Suvidha Foundation (MSF) works alongside fish farming communities across India. We believe that caring for fish well is the most beneficial thing for the farmer, the fish, and the environment alike.

Who we are

We are a Section 8 non-profit, registered under the Companies Act, 2013, with teams based in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. We believe that small, practical changes on a pond can build stronger livelihoods for farmers, healthier lives for fishes, and a more sustainable aquaculture industry for India.

What we do

We work with stakeholders — farmers, local government, and experts — to take on the challenges of pond aquaculture, such as disease prevention, water quality management, and access to technical knowledge. Our team goes out into the field to provide in-person, farm-by-farm support.
